Volunteer
Our volunteers are truly the heart of our event. It takes nearly 200 volunteers to pull off our potato luncheon each year. Most of the volunteers are RDO Equipment Co. and R.D. Offutt Company employees. However, we have also enjoyed volunteer participation from NDSU’s Ceres Women’s Fraternity, NDSU's Sigma Alpha Epsilon, NDSU and Concordia Circle K Clubs, MSTCM SHRO, US Bank and State Bank of Fargo.
What does volunteering involve? The night before the event, we wash and wrap the potatoes for baking and do other prep work. On the day of the event, volunteers perform any number of tasks, including helping with set up and decorating, selling tickets at the door, seating customers, clearing tables, serving lunch to our dine-in guests and filling take-out orders.
If you are a member of a group that is interested in helping with our event, please contact:
Amanda Johnson at AJohnson@rdoequipment.com or 701-526-1244.

Members of NDSU's Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity fill sour cream containers the night before the event.

Volunteers in the take out area receive final instructions before the start of the event.

Each year, volunteers speed-wrap all 3,000+ potatoes!
