Everything You Need to Know About Attending RDO Caters Taters for Charity
The big day is almost here. On Tuesday, November 16, RDO Caters Taters for Charity will be back for an in-person and Take Out event at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Fargo. As always, 100 percent of proceeds will be donated to the benefiting charity. This year’s benefiting charity, BIO Girls, is a nonprofit that aims to improve the self-esteem of girls through the empowerment of self and service to others. With last year’s event unable to take place because of COVID-19, many guests may need a refresher on what to expect. Plus, it has been awhile since most of us have been to an in-person event! Whether dining in with us or taking your taters to-go, here is everything you need to know about this year’s RDO Caters Taters event. Dining-In Details RDO Caters Taters will take place in the Delta Hotels by Marriott Fargo’s Crystal Ballroom. There is ample parking available for guests, no need to worry about parking in a designated space. Doors open at 11 a.m. and the serving line will top its last potato at 1 p.m. Come hungry because this year’s special topping is BBQ pork with coleslaw! Additional, tried-and-true toppings include bacon, butter, cheese, chili, salsa, and sour cream. No tickets in hand? No worries. Tickets are available to purchase at the door on event day – while they last. The event has sold out in the past so if you’d like to secure your spot early, buy RDO Caters Taters tickets online now. Raffle tickets are also available to purchase at the event; the raffle table is located in the entry space near the main door to the dining room. This year’s event features more prizes and more packages than ever before so don’t miss out on the chance to win big. Remember, 100 percent of raffle ticket sales go directly to BIO Girls. Take Out Instructions In the time it was added to the event, Take Out has grown to become the most popular way guests enjoy their potatoes at RDO Caters Taters. And with good reason! Take Out is a fast, easy way for anyone to enjoy lunch with coworkers, friends, or on their own if unable to dine in. All pre-placed Take Out orders are to be picked up at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Fargo’s Crystal Ballroom. The doors on the southwest side of the building are the most convenient to use when picking up. Just as with dining in, guests may park anywhere, there are no designated parking spots for Take Out. Each Take Out order includes a specific pick-up time. To ensure a smooth Take Out process for all, please arrive in the correct designated timeframe. Guests may order Take Out online now through Friday, November 12 at noon. Didn’t get your Take Out order placed in time? Come on event day, as walk-in orders will be accommodated while potatoes and toppings last. Because of how popular Take Out is, walk-in guests are encouraged to come early for the best chance at scoring a spud and toppings of choice. Raffle tickets are also available onsite for Take Out guests. Tickets may be purchased at the raffle table, located in the entry space near the main door to the dining room.
